What is alcohol-removed wine?

Alcohol-removed wine is made from real wine, with the alcohol gently removed after fermentation. The result is a wine that preserves the structure, balance, and character of the original, simply without the alcohol.

Is Paragraph real wine?

Yes. Paragraph is 100% wine. It is made from pure fine wine, with the alcohol removed after fermentation. Nothing is added.

Does alcohol-removed wine still taste like wine?

Yes, but like all wines, it expresses itself differently. In the same way a sparkling wine differs from a still white, or an orange wine from a classic white, alcohol-removed wine offers another expression of wine rather than an imitation of one style.

Approached with an open mind and tasted as a new type of wine, it reveals structure, balance, aromatics, and texture that belong to wine culture. Learning how to taste it allows wine lovers to enjoy the same pleasure and ritual of a real glass of wine, simply expressed in a different way.

How is the alcohol removed?

Paragraph uses low temperature vacuum distillation, currently the gentlest and most aroma-preserving method available. An integrated aroma recovery system captures and reintegrates key aromatic compounds to retain the wine's original character.

Is Paragraph non-alcoholic?

Paragraph contains less than 0.5% ABV, which is commonly recognised as alcohol free under international regulations.

While Paragraph is suitable for people who choose to avoid alcohol, including during pregnancy or for medical reasons, we always recommend consulting a healthcare professional if you have specific concerns.

Does Paragraph contain added sugar?

No. Paragraph non-alcoholic wines are low in sugar, with approximately 1g per 100ml, supporting a dry, savoury, wine-like profile.

Are flavours or additives added?

No. Paragraph wines contain no added flavours and no additives. Balance, texture, and aromatic expression are preserved naturally through sourcing, blending, and careful dealcoholisation.

Why does alcohol-removed wine need high-quality base wine?

Because alcohol is removed after the wine is made. To enjoy a good glass of wine, even without alcohol, it has to begin as a good wine. Starting with expressive, high-quality base wines is essential to preserve structure, balance, and length in the final wine.

How should Paragraph be served?

Paragraph should be served as wine. At room temperature or slightly chilled, in a wine glass, and allowed time to open in the glass. It can be enjoyed on its own or alongside food.

Can Paragraph be paired with food?

Yes. Paragraph wines are crafted with structure, freshness, and balance, making them naturally suited to food. They pair particularly well with savoury dishes, roasted or grilled foods, vegetables, and aged cheeses.

Who is Paragraph made for?

Paragraph is made for anyone who wants to enjoy wine without compromising on quality. For wine lovers who choose not to drink alcohol at certain moments, for people who cannot consume alcohol for a period of time but still want to enjoy wine with a meal, and for non-drinkers who are curious to discover the taste and culture of wine.

Is Paragraph suitable for pregnancy or medical conditions?

Yes, as Paragraph contains less than 0.5% ABV, which is commonly recognised as alcohol free. However, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional if you are pregnant or have specific medical conditions or concerns.

Is Paragraph vegan?

No. Paragraph wines are not vegan, as traditional winemaking practices may involve animal-derived fining agents.

Where are Paragraph wines made?

Paragraph wines are crafted from premium Spanish base wines, sourced from respected wine regions and wineries, before being carefully dealcoholised to preserve their character.

How should Paragraph be stored?

Store Paragraph as you would a regular red wine — in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Once opened, keep refrigerated.

How long does Paragraph last once opened?

Treat it the same as a full-alcohol wine. Best consumed within 72 hours of opening, but it will remain fresh, vibrant, and aromatic for up to 5 days.

Decanting and aerating for 1 hour after opening will help unlock the complex aromas — much the same as a premium full-alcohol red wine.
