PARAGRAPH starts with expressive grapes from premier regions, applies precise winemaking, and gently removes alcohol.
Every expression is held to the same discipline: not defined by what was removed, defined by what remains.
Tempranillo
A dry, alcohol-removed red from Spain,
vineyards above 700 m.
Structured and balanced, with dark fruit,
toasted oak and fine, polished tannins.
Tempranillo from high-altitude Spanish vineyards, chosen for structure, where the grape holds its acidity and builds the fine tannin that carries the wine once the alcohol has gone.
Chardonnay
A dry, alcohol-removed white from France.
Bright, elegant and precise, with pure stone fruit and subtle French oak complexity.
The foundation is premium base wines sourced from exceptional French vineyards. Each wine is carefully selected, from cooler sites where altitude and moderating Atlantic and Pyrenean influences support slow, even ripening, natural fruit concentration and excellent acid retention.
Frequently Asked Questions
The wine
What is alcohol-removed wine?
Alcohol-removed wine is made from real wine, with the alcohol gently removed after fermentation. The result is a wine that preserves the structure, balance, and character of the original, simply without the alcohol.
Is PARAGRAPH real wine?
Yes. PARAGRAPH is made from fine wine, fermented and finished as wine, with the alcohol removed afterwards. The full ingredient list is on every bottle.
Does alcohol-removed wine still taste like wine?
Yes, but like all wines, it expresses itself differently. In the same way a sparkling wine differs from a still white, or an orange wine from a classic white, alcohol-removed wine offers another expression of wine rather than an imitation of one style.
Approached with an open mind and tasted as a new type of wine, it reveals structure, balance, aromatics, and texture that belong to wine culture. Learning how to taste it allows wine lovers to enjoy the same pleasure and ritual of a real glass of wine, simply expressed in a different way.
Does it still taste like Chardonnay?
PARAGRAPH Chardonnay combines pure stone fruit, brioche and subtle French oak complexity with crisp apple, lemon and vibrant acidity. The result is dry, elegant and layered, with freshness, precision and length, supported by classic Chardonnay characters.
Is PARAGRAPH non-alcoholic?
PARAGRAPH is a non-alcoholic wine containing less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. Each wine is made from real wine, our Tempranillo from Spain and our Chardonnay from France, then gently dealcoholised at low temperature. It is not a grape-juice blend and contains no added flavours.
Who is PARAGRAPH made for?
PARAGRAPH is made for anyone who wants to enjoy wine without compromising on quality. For wine lovers who choose not to drink alcohol at certain moments, for people who cannot consume alcohol for a period of time but still want to enjoy wine with a meal, and for non-drinkers who are curious to discover the taste and culture of wine.
How it is made
Where are PARAGRAPH wines made?
Each PARAGRAPH wine is sourced where that grape is at its best. Our Tempranillo comes from Spain, from vineyards above 700 metres, and our Chardonnay from Southwest France, under Atlantic and Pyrenean influences. Both are crafted from premium base wines by respected growers and wineries, then carefully dealcoholised to preserve their character.
Why does PARAGRAPH source from more than one country?
We select wines from the regions and countries with the finest reputation for the grape variety, and carefully consider how the wine style will be expressed once alcohol is removed.
How is the alcohol removed?
PARAGRAPH uses low temperature vacuum distillation, currently the gentlest and most aroma-preserving method available. An integrated aroma recovery system captures and reintegrates key aromatic compounds to retain the wine's original character.
Why does alcohol-removed wine need high-quality base wine?
Because in true alcohol-removed wine, all of the aromas, flavours and character come from the base wine. For the finished wine to be expressive, complex and engaging, the base wine must have great character and intensity before the alcohol is removed.
Are flavours added?
No. PARAGRAPH wines contain no added flavours. Balance, texture, and aromatic expression are preserved naturally through sourcing, blending, and careful dealcoholisation.
Sugar, diet and health
Does PARAGRAPH contain added sugar?
No. PARAGRAPH wines are low in sugar, with approximately 1g per 100ml, supporting a dry, savoury, wine-like profile.
Is PARAGRAPH vegan?
No. PARAGRAPH wines are not vegan, as traditional winemaking practices may involve animal-derived fining agents.
Is PARAGRAPH suitable for pregnancy or medical conditions?
PARAGRAPH is a non-alcoholic wine containing less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. People avoiding alcohol for pregnancy, medical, religious, recovery, or other reasons should consult their healthcare professional or personal standard before consuming any product containing trace alcohol.
Serving and keeping
How should PARAGRAPH be served?
Serve PARAGRAPH as you would any wine, in a wine glass, with time to open. The Tempranillo is best at 14 to 16°C, lightly cool rather than at room temperature. The Chardonnay is best at 6 to 8°C, properly chilled. Either can be enjoyed on its own or alongside food.
Can PARAGRAPH be paired with food?
Yes. PARAGRAPH wines are crafted with structure, freshness, and balance, making them naturally suited to food. The Tempranillo suits roasted and grilled meats, aged cheeses and slow-cooked dishes. The Chardonnay suits seafood and shellfish, poultry and lighter plates, fresh cheeses, or a glass on its own.
How should PARAGRAPH be stored?
Store PARAGRAPH as you would the equivalent full-alcohol wine, in a cool dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Once opened, keep both wines refrigerated.
How long does PARAGRAPH last once opened?
Treat either wine the same as its full-alcohol equivalent. Both are best within 2–3 days of opening, recapped tightly and refrigerated.
Decanting the Tempranillo for an hour after opening helps unlock its aromas, much as it would a premium full-alcohol red. The Chardonnay needs no decanting, simply serve it properly chilled.

Side by side
How do the Tempranillo and the Chardonnay compare?
Because the standard is the craft. Each expression is chosen because that grape, from that region, is the best possible starting point for a serious alcohol-removed wine of its style: a Spanish Tempranillo for its aromatic profile and soft tannin structure, a French Chardonnay for precision and freshness.
